Arti Salunke Foundation for Organ Donation is a Foundation proposed to be dedicated solely for spreading Awareness and Knowledge about Whole Body Donation (Deh Daan) and Organ Donation amongst people in India, with an aim to bring down the Waiting List of Patients waiting for Organ and Tissue Transplant as good as upto Zero from an average 6 to 10 years of Waiting Period

Kidney Donation

Eyes (Corneas) Donation

A Corneal transplant is an operation that replaces the opaque cornea of needy patient with deceased human donor

Skin Donation

A skin bank is a center where skin taken from deceased donor is processed and preserved under optimal conditions

Bones Donation

The Living Donor Bone Program enables people undergoing a hip replacement to donate the bone that would normally be discarded during surgery.

Thousands of people die while waiting for transplant, because no suitable donor can be found for them. The need for organ donors has never been greater. Our Mission

Our mission is to spread the awareness of Organ Donation just as of a Blood Donation. Just as every person is aware of blood donation, we would take efforts to make each and every person aware of the Organ Donation. The current campaigns are focusing upon the Wish of a donor.

  • Our mission is to SHIFT this FOCUS from the ‘Wish of Own’ to the ‘Consent of Relatives’, and to educate the people to give Consent for retrieving organs after death of their beloved
  • Our mission is to bring the Waiting List to Zero. The task seems to be impossible, but it is not. It is difficult but possible. Current generation will not believe that there were Waiting Lists for Telephone Connections, Gas Connections, before few years. It has come to zero now.
  • One Consent of the Relatives of Deceased can Gift Lives to number of Patients fighting between life and death, you can’t imagine.

Our Appeal

It is our sincere appeal to all of you to take oath that - You will gift the vital organs of your beloved ones when the time occurs, and will spread the awareness in your own ways - in maximum possible ways.

India is my country- my family. All Indians are my relatives. I believe, just as we all help each other in good or odd times in our life, we can donate our body organs and help get life to someone even after our death. I also believe that donating my whole body for medical education and research purpose is also a service to the society. I am, therefore, now taking Oath that I will donate organs not only of mine, but also of my relatives when times occur. I will also propagate the holy mission of Organ Donation and Body Donation as per my capacity
